OCBC Bank (Malaysia) unveils its new sustainably made corporate uniforms, produced by Kloth Wear.
Kuala Lumpur, 13 January 2026 — Kloth Wear, a pioneer in sustainably made corporate uniforms and merchandise, has collaborated with OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad and Pac Lease Berhad to introduce a new generation of corporate uniforms crafted from 100% recycled plastic bottles (rPET) and inspired by traditional Songket motifs.
Through this initiative, more than 100,000 plastic bottles were transformed into high-quality sustainable textiles and meticulously tailored into corporate uniforms for both organisations. Each uniform shirt is made using 19 recycled plastic bottles, demonstrating how waste can be reimagined into purposeful, everyday wear.

The uniform designs draw inspiration from Tenun Ikat and Bunga Songket motifs, blending Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage with circular design principles for corporate workwear. This thoughtful integration demonstrates how traditional artistry can be adapted into a contemporary corporate context while advancing environmentally responsible practices. Beyond visual appeal, the uniforms symbolise the organisations’ shared commitment to responsible growth, sustainability, and community consciousness.
Kloth Wear is a flagship brand under Kloth Circularity, which also owns Kloth Cares, a regional recycling movement encouraging Malaysians and Singaporeans to divert clothing and fabric items from landfills and incinerators. For over a decade, Kloth Wear has been recognised for sourcing internationally certified, high-quality, sustainable textiles for corporate uniforms and merchandise.
The brand has previously designed and produced batik-inspired corporate uniforms made from recycled plastic bottles for prominent organisations across the region, such as the Malaysian Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC), and NanoMalaysia Berhad, further cementing its credibility in merging sustainability with heritage-inspired design.
According to the co-founder Sarahah Kedah, “This collaboration with OCBC Bank and Pac Lease demonstrates that sustainability and heritage can be seamlessly integrated into corporate identity. By transforming over 100,000 plastic bottles into Songket-inspired uniforms, we are proving that circularity is no longer just a concept; it is a sophisticated and fundamental shift within Malaysia’s evolving corporate landscape.”
With more than 5,000 uniforms now worn by OCBC Bank (Malaysia) and Pac Lease employees, this initiative marks a tangible step towards embedding circularity and sustainability into everyday business operations, while honouring local culture and reducing environmental impact.
